About Z-Man
Mark Y. Zylawy, “Z-Man,” a highly regarded Portland police officer, died January 27, 2008 in an accident at the age of 40. He worked as a district officer in Northeast Portland for 17 years with a passion, dedication and enthusiasm throughout his career.
Scholarships
Who is eligible? Students (Grades 9, 10, 11, 12) residing in the Portland area are eligible to receive the Z-Man Scholarship. The recipients will be recognized and honored for their proven ability to overcome life’s obstacles and hardships. And for their dedication to service in their community.
